Scholarship

 
 
The Australian International Academy aims to provide an environment where excellence is recognised. The school arranges for annual assessment through ACER Scholarship testing program. Each year the school offers Academic and General Excellence scholarships as well as scholarship for Quran Memorisation & Reading. Academic Excellence Scholarships are open to students in Years 6-11 and Quran Memorisation is open to students in Years prep – 11.
 
 
The scholarships will be awarded based on the results of an examination and previous school reports. These scholarships will be awarded only to students who are performing within the top 5% of student achievement. Results of scholarship examinations are confidential and not released by the Academy.
 
Categories
1. Academic Scholarships for entry in Year 11, 2010 (3 full & 3 half scholarships)

  • Open to students who are currently in Year 10, but not at AIA
  • Scholarships awarded cover all tuition fees for 2 years
  • To study International Baccalaureate(IB) Diploma Programme in 2010 & 2011.

2. Academic Excellence – Year 6 –Year 11

  • Open to students who are currently in Year 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 at AIA
  • Scholarships awarded cover all tuition fees for 2010

 
3. Qur’an Memorisation & Reading – Prep-Year 11

  • Open to students who are currently in Years prep to Year 11 at AIA
  • Scholarships awarded cover all tuition fees for 2010


Cost
A fee of $85 for each applicant covers entry for one of the scholarships available.

Registration
 
Application forms are available from Melbourne Senior Campus or download an application form. A copy of previous school reports should be submitted with the application form, only if students are not currently enrolled at the Academy.
